Are you good at finding great restaurants, bars, museums, parks etc, in your town? Wanna explore some sure rare finds? foursquare is an iPhone app to assist you in finding new ways to explore the city, meet friends, earn points and unlock badges for discovering new places, doing new things and meeting new people. This app does two things: It helps you keep track of cool things you like to do, and also things you want to do in the future.

People make a list of 12 coolest things they like to do, and recommend them to other foursquare members. You write tiny messages, kinda like tweets, about the places you recommend, like “Go to XYZ, order the ABC special”. You check-in on your iPhone from wherever you are (a park, bar, museum, restaurant, whatever) and foursquare finds nearby friends you can meet. Every check-in earns you points and if you are someplace interesting, you even get badges, which rewards explorers.
