Sonar Ruler review

You know how dolphins find their food? Sonar Ruler is an interesting iPhone app that generates and sends out echoes and measures their distances to with your iPhone. After sending a short pulse from the speaker, the Sonar Ruler app for the iPhone measures how long that pulse took to bounce off of something and return. It then estimates how far away you are. If you’re a teacher, this app is a great way to teach students the principles of sonar, and how sound propagates through air.
