If you have an Intuit GoPayment Merchant Service account, you can download the free iPhone app called Intuit GoPayment and easily accept credit card payments on the spot using your iPhone. No more waiting for checks to clear, chasing invoice payments, or missing sales. Get paid and move on. GoPayment also integrates with QuickBooks software, and blends with optional mobile hardware scan and printer products. Finally you can also access the online Merchant Service Center to manage users, view transaction history, download statements, and even process back office transactions.
To charge a credit card you just open the app, enter the information by hand and tap the Charge button. You can then send customers confirmation emails or even text receipts. Works with iPhone and iPod touch. GoPayment is a great productivity app for making business billing easier and now works on any iPhone or iPod touch device. The app is free unlike other iPhone credit card processing utilities like Credit Card Terminal. As long as you have an active Merchant account with Intuit, there is no need for 3rd party gateways and no additional fees for the app. The user interface very simple and not too graphically polished, but functions well.
