There are lots of terminal apps built for the iPhone but this one seems to stand above the rest and costs $4.99 from Zingersoft. With this SSH Client for the iPhone you can remotely connect to other machines, great for admins or anyone who wants to work on a remote server.
iSSH is a VT100, VT102, VT220, ANSI, xterm, and xterm-color terminal emulator over SSH. It works in both portrait (60×24) and landscape (80×24) modes. You can scroll-back in the buffer by swiping in right 1/3rd of screen. You can see arrow keys by swiping in left 2/3rd of screen. iSSH also supports Ctrl, tab, shift, and Fn keys, all in combination. You can store any number of connections and configurations, and command execution on connection for later use.
New features include:
- Key generation storage and exchange
- Additional keys in landscape mode, specifically “ESC” and “|”
- Multiple concurrent connections
- Active connection list
- Option to store password and server port
- Misc bug fixes
