Pianist is the first virtual piano application for the iPhone or iPod Touch available in the App Store created by MooCowMusic. The animated piano keys are super sensitive and feel quite real to the touch. Now you can play along to all your MP3s.

History: Before the App Store was opened, Pianist was originally released by MooCowMusic as a 3rd party mod app available in the Installer application called iAno. The original method for installing the app was to use Installer.app using the following source url (http://modmyifone.com/installer.xml) and located under the Toys category. iAno was then renamed to Pianist and eventually was moved to the App Store where it is now sold.

   I downloaded pianist.I actually dont know how to play piano. I can’t read the music notes either. Is there any app or music sheet with a note that shows in pianist app?it have a code like c7 d7 e8.. Thinkng maybe I can play a song follow the notes like that. Please help.

   I just came across this app for the first time on YouTube. There was someone playing the Cold Play song “clocks” on it. Pretty freakin amazing, I had to come find a couple of reviews to see if it’s worth it or not. Thanks for writing this.
