Pianist is the first virtual piano application for the iPhone or iPod Touch available in the App Store created by MooCowMusic. The animated piano keys are super sensitive and feel quite real to the touch. Now you can play along to all your MP3s.

History: Before the App Store was opened, Pianist was originally released by MooCowMusic as a 3rd party mod app available in the Installer application called iAno. The original method for installing the app was to use Installer.app using the following source url (http://modmyifone.com/installer.xml) and located under the Toys category. iAno was then renamed to Pianist and eventually was moved to the App Store where it is now sold.

    Hi I’ve tried severak times to install PIANIST but get failure message (same as PocketGuitar) “cannot connect to ModMyiFone.come”.

    If you do not hear sound from Pianist but you do hear your Ipod it might be that your telephone is on Silence mode. It took me almost a day to find the problem, while the problem solving was soooo easy

    but cannot find iAno?

    awesome but can you add 1 note variation buttons: it’s not very funy to make a transition for all non C or F based songs.
