iAno (native Pianist)

iAno is a virtual piano native application for the iPhone / iPod Touch. Download and install it via Installer.app. Make sure you have the modmyifone url (http://modmyifone.com/installer.xml) added as a source and refresh your sources. You will find it under the Toys category.

Update: iAno has been renamed to Pianist.

The animated piano keys are super sensitive and feel quite real to the touch. Now you can play along to all your MP3s.

The Main features are:
- 4 Octaves, with a navigation system to move easily between them.
- Uses real piano samples.
- Multi-touch allows up to 5 keys to be pressed at once for complex chords.
- Keys are animated so they look like they are being pressed.

Use iPhone mods and hacks at your own risk! Installing 3rd Party iPhone apps requires you to jailbreak the iPhone before installing the native software and apps. Hey I cannot here any sound. And cannot see “sound effects” option under general settings as mentioned. Any help ? I’m using 1.1.2. Thanks

maybe for the update you can set up a way for ppl to memorize chords of some kind? i dont know how to play piano

I have upgraded my iphone 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 and now with Ziphone2.4 to 1.1.3. But the iano does not work I downloaded it in installer but got a popup after the package was downloaded that “Error Main script execution failed”. Then I removed modmyifone/installer.xml from sources and did a restart. After this I put back the modmyifone/installer.xml in sources and saved and refreshed. But still the same error. The iano is lying on the summerboard screen but there is no sound coming. In Setting-general there is no “Sound Effect” option either. Please respond with a easy way to fix this issue. It looks so cool.

Does anybody know how to fix iAno on jailbroken 1.1.3 iPod Touch? (no sound!)

Does anyone know some links or website (tutorials) that explain fix-ing that promlem?

After install go to your preferences ->sound effects -> select both, then relaunch iAno. Works great for me on my ipod touch.

I have also the iano on my 1.1.3 but No sound. And there is no Sound effects under Genral on my iphone. It is not possible to uninstall the appp either.

Do i need 1.1.3 or will it also work with 1.1.2 ? Is there another Source Instead of modmyifone? Cant find it in the toys section

my sound will not work ether, im having problems with iano. my iphone version is 1.1.4 but still it is jailbroken. it will not make any sounds. i canot locate preferences on the iano app any tips?? thanks

You have to go to Settings > General > Sound Effects > And Enable “Both”, before you will get sound on an iPod touch.

Hey sup ppl.I js recently jailbroke my Ipod touch running firmware 1.1.1 unfortunatly i live it SA n there isn’t alota wi-fi access points which i can use.I was wondering if there was a website where i can download native 3rd party apps to my computer and them transfer it 2 my Ipod??? If you do not hear sound from Pianist but you do hear your Ipod it might be that your telephone is on Silence mode. It took me almost a day to find the problem, while the problem solving was soooo easy
