This is a magical and amazing native 3rd party app developed by the iPhone Listen, developed by Erica Sadun. This simple app “listens” to a sample of a song and then looks for it in a song database. Listen then shows you the Song Title, Artist, and Album name. You just have to hold your iPhone or iTouch to the speaker and wait until it’s done recording the 5 second sample.

Listen lets you search for the song on iTunes or email the information. The app works very well with mainstream music.

Listen can be downloaded from Installer.app and is part of the Ste Packaging source URL. Be sure to add that as a source and refresh to get the latest version. Listen requires firmware 1.1.[12].
