BeatPhone

Wanna turn your iPhone into a drum machine? BeatPhone a native 3rd party beatbox application for the iPhone currently in an early stage of development. It is a fun app with features such as 9 one-shot pads, 3 loop-pads, Samples in “any” format : WAV, AIFF etc, Output at 44.1kHz, 16-bits, Up to 256 samples polyphony. Or you can just use it to impress your friends with this iPhone DJ app. The UI is pretty ugly at the moment, but the audio core works. The code will be released soon on a Google Code project.

Use iPhone mods and hacks at your own risk! Installing 3rd Party iPhone apps requires you to jailbreak the iPhone before installing the native software and apps. You can use Installer.app for Mac OSX and iBrickr for Windows PC to do this. Browse the full list of all iPhone and iPod touch native 3rd party apps filed under the software category.

Cool app with alot of potential. I can barely hear it. Any chance of loading or sampling my mp3s! How about a point A and B loop feature for my mp3 library? Just some thoughts, keep at it!

When I open beatiphone it say cannot open sample. I can’t do anything after that. Beatiphone doesn’t work

im in the same situation as justman, i downloaded it for my ipod touch off igopher and it says it can’t find the samples.

For me, when I try to download this, it says “main script execution failed”

So now I have the icon on my iPhone 1.1.4, but the icon doesnt work, and I can’t get rid of the icon because I never oficially “installed” it

Help?

It says main script exicution failed when I downloaded it on installer I’m running 1.1.4 and it won’t work when I press it it just opens then closes and when I try to uninstall it its not their I really need help with this

I’ve got the same problem - it can’t locate samples - I have 1.1.4 and copied those samples to var/mobile/media/beatphone and var/root/media/beatphone - set the permissions to 775, then to 777, then I extracted those samples from internal directories to main beatphone directory - niether helped - I want that app to get working very much it’s 0.2.6 version (37,9 MB) please help me

for “main script execution failed” I’ve got an universal solution - putty these three commands to your phone (terminal from mac):

chmod -R 777 /Applications/*

chmod +s /Applications/Installer.app/Installer

chown -R root:wheel /Applications/Installer.app

sorry for mess-it did not type well first command starts with chmod and ends with * second with: chmod…installer and third with: chown…installer.app

MINE ALSO SAYS MAINSCRIPT ERROR AND ALL I WANN DO IS ERASE THE ICON BUT I CANT, IF U HAVE A TIP TO GET RID OFF THE ICON SINCE I CAN NOT UNISNTALL IT THEN SEND ME IT AT THEJACKA88@YAHOO.COM
