Find gas prices and gas station addresses for your zip code on your iPhone or iPod touch. Enter the ZIP code where you want to find the cheapest gas prices. Most prices are updated daily but they could change every morning. You can sort the list by ZIP code or Gas Price. Results show the price per gallon of regular, unleaded and supreme along with the name and address of the gas station and a link to the map for the station.
Update: A new native Gas price app has come out sold in the App Store. It’s called iGas.
Update: This app has been shut down. As of right now there are no iPhone apps that provide Gas Prices.
Note: the original Gas.app has been down for some time now.

Bummer, it looks like this app was shut down by OPISNET
very sad. I loved the iGAS app. The page the old link redirects to is a totally worthless, for an iPhone, map.
OPIS just launched a new app on the app store that allows GPS and Zip code searches. They also issued a press release: http://www.forbes.com/businesswire/feeds/businesswire/2008/08/27/businesswire20080827005072r1.html
so why is the app shutdown??
