50 in 1 APPZILLA review

With so many great games coming out seemingly every day, real estate on your iPhone and iPod touch can become a tough resource to manage. Consolidation apps can be great way to clear your device of simple utility apps by containing a bunch of apps in one. Take a look at the APPZILLA app from Fossil Software which features over 50 simple utility apps for under 2 dollars, all managed using a simple springboard interface. Just tap on the APPZILLA app, and then on any of the contained apps to get started. You can change the layout from the Home Screen interface to a list interface as an option.

Notable apps in APPZILLA:

Massager is a nice app that turns your iPhone into a physical therapy utility using the built in vibration feature of the iPhone. It has 5 settings includig slow, medium, fast, build and hills.

Glow Paint is a drawing app that lets you paint glowing rays of light with your fingers. It has a wide array of brush heads and lets you customize the color, size and mode of the brush. You can really have some fun creating colorful paintings here, and save the results to your camera roll, where you can set them as your wallpaper.

Sleep Aid is a sound generator app that can help you relax by playing a nice loop of 9 different audio effects including ocean waves, crackling fire, forest birds, thunderstorms, lightning, water fountain, and chirping crickets. You can enable multiple sounds simultaneously to create your own custom environments. You can also play your iPod music over the sounds. Sleep Aid plays your sounds for 30 minutes before stopping, and help keep you company before you fall sleep.

Translator will let yo type in any word and have it translated to any one of 30+ languages.

The only issue we found was that the 2 included Camera apps (Auto Camera and Full Camera) didn’t quite work or do anything, besides show you a view of the camera. There is also seemingly no way to quit out of these camera apps and back to the app list.

Overall, APPZILLA is a good buy at the low price and can help declutter your iPhone of some one-off apps that you might be holding on to.
