Wait Watchers apps for the iPhone are a series of apps for various Theme Parks in the US that uses user submissions to generate and display a table of the current wait times at the park. The app helps people help each other. As this information is updated by users, for user, its success depends on wide adoption by iPhone users while at the park. The idea is that you will be able to make a decision about what to do next more quickly and also know exactly what rides exist in the theme park your are visiting. The app shows the list of rides in alphabetical order with the most recent wait times submitted for each one. You can change the sorting to be by wait times. Wait Watchers currently offers an iPhone app for the following parks:

- Magic Kingdom
- EPCOT
- Hollywood Studios
- Animal Kingdom
- Islands of Adventure
- Disneyland
- Disney’s California Adventure
- Universal Studios Hollywood
- Universal Studios Florida (coming soon)

The app is geo-validated (that means it reads the GPS coordinates in your phone) so the likelihood of someone randomly posting a bogus wait time is reduced.
