The Yahoo! folks have now officially released an iPhone optimized version of the Flickr website for Mobile Safari users. To view the iPhone version, just load up http://m.flickr.com from Safari on your iPhone or iPod touch.
The main page lets you search for photos by tag, sign in or create an account. Explore interesting photos from around the world.
For some added social interaction once you are logged into Flickr from your iPhone you can view Activity made to your photos and other pics you are interested in under the Activity tab. Your photo stream is shown under the You tab and lets you browse your photos, post comments and view larger versions. The pages load fast in either an Edge or WiFi connection. The main page only loads once and the Flickr folks have worked hard to make this iPhone version of the site optimized and use Ajax to only load the parts you need as you go.
You can also view your contact list. From more you can do other things like search Flickr, Explore, learn how to upload photos from your iPhone by email, and get Help and read the FAQ.
