So when will 3rd Party Apps be available to the iPod Touch? The 5 news apps are great but with an endless amount of other stuff to add 5 kind of seems pretty weak.

The SDK is coming out in February, I’m sure tons of 3rd party apps will be out shortly after for both the iPod touch and iPhone. They will most likely not be free however.

Oh there’ll be plenty of free ones, but Apple’s going to make sure you shell out $20 if you want to install ANYTHING on the Touch. Hello Jailbreak and Torrents, goodbye Apple.
