iFM Radio Browser from Griffin is a free iPhone app that lists what songs are playing on the radio in a variety of U.S. markets. It doesn’t actually play any music, so it isn’t a radio app, but more of a reference app, that you can use to see what just played, what is playing now on the radio. It’s a good way to find song names if you missed something on the drive home etc. The iFM app also lets you dig deeper into artist pages, read bios, find tour schedules, and buy songs from iTunes.

The iFM app also serves as a gateway remote for the Griffin Navigate In-Line Controller for iPod and iPhone ($39.94) hardware product from Griffin which basically gives your iPhone the ability to listen to live FM radio stations. Navigate has a built-in LCD screen and can control volume and change FM stations.

Combine both the iFM app and the Navigate product, and your iPhone will become a super FM Radio listening powerhouse.
