Got an iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS? Try the new live poker game called Showdown Poker where you can play with a friend using the built-in Bluetooth connection of your iPhone. The great thing about this is you don’t need to have an internet connection. Just have to be in close proximity of a friend who has the same app and has an iPhone 3G or 3GS.

Showdown Poker supports two players with two modes: Hotseat and Head-To-Head. In Hotseat mode both players can pass a single iPhone or iPod touch back and forth to play, while in Head-to-Head mode you play 2 Player poker over the Bluetooth connection. The Showdown Poker iPhone app uses the Z2 Live multiplayer framework to achieve the head-to-head gameplay.
