Capcom’s Mega Man II for the iPhone is a 5 dollar game that resembles an arcade style using two giant buttons and a joystick with the entire soundtrack and original layout of characters and levels on the iPhone screen.

The controls on this game are a bit shaky due to the usage of the joystick and some animations leave a little to be desired. You have to slide your fingers on the joystick to move left/right/up/down which is not very intuitive on the iPhone. Also the L and R buttons are a little too close together and can be accidentally tapped.

Overall this game has a classic arcade style feel with great old school graphics and music and may be a good buy for die hard Mega Man and NES fans with the iPhone. This is probably the best ported mobile versions of the Mega Man game series as of now. Let’s hope to get some fixes to the controls.
