Little Cook review

Aspiring child chefs would get a kick out of Aquility’s app, Little Cook. With it, you get a chance to plan out a meal in your own little iPhone kitchen. Foods to be made include: salad, sandwich, soup, omelet, pizza, and ice cream.

Once you click on the item, you can decide which ingredients to put in (you can only use so many, though, so be careful in choosing your ingredients). Tap the picture to hear and read what it is, and if you want it in your dish, just drag it to the bottom. Tap the green check mark in the top right corner when you’re done, and a kid taste taster will tell you what she thinks.

The colorful graphics are eye-catching, and the music fun. This game is perfect for little ones, as they can try again and again to learn about ingredients, and about what should go in which dish when the taste tester gives her opinion. And what kid doesn’t want to put M&M’s in every dish?
