If you like to solve puzzles involving numbers or Rubix cubes, you might want to give Juan Pablo Re’s iPhone app, Doodle Puzzle, a try. Similar to a Rubix cube, it involves manipulating (by touchscreen) numbers around a rectangle until they are in numerical order.
Such a simple concept, yet such potential for frustration. There are five difficulty levels, from Easy to Hardest; naturally, the levels get harder as you solve each puzzle. There is also a counter noting the number of moves you’ve made to solve a puzzle.
Priced at the $2, Doodle Puzzle may be slightly overpriced. The hand drawn theme is charming, and the lack of music can be a blessing if you’re a thinker who needs quiet…otherwise, feel free to blast your own form of game show music. This iPhone app is a perfect for those wanting something more involved than the usual game app or something that will give their brains a workout.
