What do you get when shred a pig, and mix it with some crabs, floor fans and chandeliers, some plants, disposable gloves and a plump weener? You get the smash hit distance shooting game for the iPhone called Hot Dog Down a Hallway. Aim an animated hot dog and shoot him out of a grinder down a long hallway filled with random objects that can either help the Dog bounce up longer, or shred him into little pieces. Hot Dog Down a Hallway is a lovable and addictive game that will test your perception skills somewhat too, as you have some control over the faith of the wide eyed little hot dog. By tilting your iPhone to the left you help him land in such a way that he will bounce forward with more power.

There are various helpers along the way to keep you going. The fan, potted plant and ceiling lights will all propel you, but be careful not to enter the wrong way into the back of the fan or you’ll be counting tiny dogs. Watch out for the red crabs as they’ll slow down the weener. You can get protection by getting wrapped up in the ballooned up gloves hanging around, and you can even double bag your hot dog. At some point your little guy will run out of energy and come to a stop. You’ll get a score based on how many feet and inches your hot dog flew, while you listen to the gasping breaths of the poor little guy. Which reminds us of the great comical soundtrack music that backs this equally hilarious game. Hot Dog Down a Hallway, is a game that you’ll play probably more than a dozen times at least. Its one of those “I’ve got 2 minutes” free games that you can just crack open and have a go once in a while. All this combined with excellent graphics and smooth gameplay make app a winner.
