No one likes a grumpy sleepy head, and neither do you. Napsters is a cute little puzzle for the iPhone starring round little pink blob like cartoon characters that like to nap around their cells, and its your job to wake them all up. The game starts out on a board of 3×4 cells, each cell occupied by a pink character. Playing the game takes some strategy but your goal is pretty simple. Wake up all 12 pink dudes and get them to smile. The Napsters game somewhat reminds us of the old school game Lights Out. But here you are working with the corners not the actual cells. Each Napster can have 1-4 of their cell’s corners lit. Also each dude can have 0-4 eyes. This means each cell has multiple possible correct states, but only 1 combination will get every Napster on the board to wake up.

Tapping the red lights around their sleeping cells, and you change their mood and sleeping habit. There one hint that makes playing the game more meaningful. The number of lit light bulbs surrounding each cell, must match the number of eyes each Napster has. When this happens Napsters smile and their box glows green. If you get stuck or run out of ideas, tap the hint button which will lead you the right way.

The game is broken down into 3 cups: Bronze, Silver and Gold, with each one having 30 levels. If you get really good at the game and want even more of a challenge, you can use the level editor to design your very own levels with up to 20 Napsters per board. You can even download levels made by other users online. Oh and before we forget, the soundtrack in Napsters is a perfect match for the game and will put you in a great mood. Playing Napsters is entertaining, addictive, and the replay value is quite high. It’s one of those games you can pick up to fill a few minutes of your day here and there. We recommend Napsters to anyone looking for a unique and entertaining iPhone puzzler.
