Dating DNA is a free online dating site that is designed to integrate with the digital life of online Social Networks and iPod touch and iPhone users. Browse and zoom in on photos of other Dating DNA uses you may be compatible with, based on their compatibility score with you (from 1 to 10), and then add those users you’re interested in to your “DNA Strand.”

Note: This app requires registration. You must first have a Dating DNA Number to use this application. You can get your number by visiting the www.datingdna.com site. Try with TestiPhone

   Pretty impressive. I haven’t cared much for online dating sites, but this one is pretty nice. I like their approach. The Web App only does a small fraction of what the site does, but it does the “fun” part, which is browsing through photos of people you score high enough with. I like that “my” photo isn’t just shown to anyone, but only those I’m compatible enough with.

   I like it.

   Hands down the best online dating site, not just for the iphone, but in general. 100% free, web 2.0, just very well thought out and hits the sweet spot for online dating.

   Another cute iPhone app for those in the dating world is Rate-My-Date. It shows a beating heart (your “date pulse”) that can be made faster or slower with a slider at the bottom of the screen. When the heart beats, a “bleep” sound like an EKG plays, and if the dates goes sour, it turns into a flat line with the famous monotone warning sound from various hospital shows.
   This thing is a great ice breaker and gets a laugh every time.
