The Pac-Man Dash! iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad app is a fun arcade game that is addictive, responsive, and cute. The fantastic, cheeky cartoon graphics of the Pac-Man and game scape are simultaneously adorable and engaging. The gesture controls are straightforward and accurate. The intuitive game play leads to quick success for novices, but the integration of multiple routes in the game play allows advanced users to select a more complex game.

You are greeted with the home screen filled with a futuristic city, upbeat soundtrack, and a chance to have four games saved. Each of the games is represented by a Pac-Man. A cool touch is the ability to customize your saved Pac-Man game with a photo or graphic. There are several great options like a Harajuku Pac-Man girl, a mean Pac-Man ghost, a Snorlax-inspired Pac-Man , and a robot Pac-Man. They are fun, cool, and hilarious. You can also attach a selfie shot from the in-app camera.

You tap to start a new game or access an existing one. The goal of each game is stated, and you find your jump icon in the lower right hand corner. Helpful hints pop-up intermittently to help you be more successful. You want to grab cookies to increase speed and earn points. You will want to jump to grab cookies placed in arches. As you encounter obstacles to avoid, you will jump. If you do not time your jump appropriately and seem to fall off the course, you will land in another level of the course and continue as long as time allows. The pace of the game is quick, and the gesture controls are agile, responsive, and effective.

You earn points quickly and can redeem for power-ups. Power-ups help increase your speed and performance. The power-ups require reasonable payments of your earned points, so you can maximize and build on your success quickly.
