You have 7 species to choose right from the start: Zombies, Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Frankensteins, Demons, and Ghouls. Each has dozens of different eyes, brows, hairs, ears, noses, and teeth. This means you have millions of different ways to combine the effects together. Want to keep your eyes and mouth but completely warp yourself into a werewolf zombie?? You can do it here!

I had great fun with this app. There are literally endless combination possibilities. Each time you start, you can click the ‘Done’ button and then ‘Switch Character’ button and add elements from another creepy monster species. The combinations surprisingly match together sometimes thanks to their blending and every part you start working on can be moved, scaled, and rotated for your own customizations, so even if the program places something out of place, you can still customize it yourself.

I had some problems with the fade button since from all my experiments; it doesn’t seem to do anything. My first try with the app, the Fade button literally deletes the last object I added. All times after, it does literally nothing. I also couldn’t quit out of the current image I was working on without having to first save it to library, and then create a new monster. I wished for an option to ‘clear all’ and restart or at least have an undo/redo option somewhere to take back my edits. That would be nice.

This was an incredibly detailed, graphically nice photo editor that is perfect for creating more monsters for this Halloween season. Send your images to Facebook, send it to your girlfriend and scare her into thinking her boyfriend looks better as a werewolf then as normal. This was a lot of fun and I think its lasting appeal might last past Halloween! If I had the option, this would be a 4.8 out of 5… but for now.
