Postagram review

Wanna really impress your family and friends? If you use Instagram to take photos, check out the new iPhone app called Postagram. With Postagram you can print and mail your Instagram photos as postcards to friends and family, all from your iPhone. Great app for when you’re traveling or just want to send a note, thank you, or regards to someone. Postagrams are printed and delivered for $0.99 delivered in 2-5 days. Postagram is a project of Sincerely Inc.

The Postagram app is free to download from the App Store. Once you load it, you’ll enter your Instagram login information and authorize Postagram access to your account. From there you select a photo and you’re taken to the preview page.

By default the message is the title of your Instagram post, but you can edit the message, with a maximum of 140 characters.

Next you’ll need to create an account for Postagram. They want your email address and postal mailing address for communication about your orders, and to send you Postagrams from other users.

On the last page you are shown a preview of the postcard, which has your order on the left and your Instagram user icon on the left along with your message and a Postagram footer graphic. There is no way to change the font type or font size of the message. Also there is no way to edit the photo. You just get the exact photo you had on Instagram. Postagram says they use thick glossy paper and print at 300 dpi. The postcard looks to be a black paper with white text. What’s cool is that the photo has a bezel and neatly pops out of the card.

Once you’re done you will pay using a credit card and send your postcard off. Right now there is a promotion allowing users to get 1 free postcard sent out during the first 24 hours.
