qTweeter

qTweeter is a slick and efficient Twitter and Facebook status update app that you can only install if you have Cydia on your jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch. What is so cool about the qTweeter app is that you don’t need to load an app to post status updates. You just slide your finger from the top of the iPhone screen towards the bottom and the qTweeter pops into view with an input box, keyboard and a bunch of other tools for uploading photos and videos to your Twitter and Facebook account. When you’re done just slide your finger up to remove the qTweeter interface.

This immediate availability is what makes qTweeter unique and is a perfect match for the instant feel of using Twitter and Facebook in the first place. This also means you don’t need to close whatever app you are currently running to send a tweet. Once you install that app from Cydia, you enter your credentials and you’re ready to go. The qTweeter app is a free download from Cydia but only gives you 15 free status updates before you are required to make a $5 donation.

Features:
Backgrounds – let you pick a color or image to use as the qTweeter bg when you use it.
Music Tweets – when you are in iPod app, slide down to open qTweeter, tap the menu icon in qTweeter which looks like a few horizontal lines, and use the menu item called Music QuickTweet to automatically update your status with the song info you’re listening to and even a link to the iTunes store.
Safari Tweets – again you can do the same in Safari to auto tweet links and websites you like using Safari QuickTweet
YouTube Tweets – slide down while watching a video and you can easily tweet the video
