Watch your Slingbox on your iPhone as was demonstrated at Macworld Expo. The SlingPlayer Mobile app for iPhone and iPod touch is here.
The toolbar on the bottom includes buttons for connecting and disconnecting from different devices, manage your favorites channels, remote options, Pause, Play, Rewind, and much more. While a video is being played you can swipe left and right to go through your favorites, or slide up and down to move through the channels on your TV at home.
Requirements:
Connection: SlingPlayer for the iPhone requires Wi-Fi connection. 3G support might be added down the line apparently pending agreements with AT&T.
Software: SlingPlayer for Windows version 2.0.3 or SlingPlayer for Macintosh 1.0.8 or later with a current Slingbox firmware.
Hardware: Slingbox PRO-HD, Slingbox SOLO or Slingbox PRO connected to the Internet with a router. Older Sligboxes might not work.
The Slingbox is a TV streaming device that enables users to remotely view their home’s cable, satellite, or personal video recorder (PVR) programming from an Internet-enabled computer with a broadband Internet connection.
