Beejive IM

JiveTalk for iPhone brings the desktop Instant Messaging experience to your iPhone. JiveTalk supports real-time connectivity to all of your IM buddies on AIM .Mac ICQ Jabber Windows Live and Yahoo Messenger. You can connect to all these services simultaneously and have a consolidated buddy list similar to that of JiveTalk, Miranda, Trillian and Adium. The UI is amazingly similar to that of the iPhone. Even the settings section of Beejive for iPhone is almost identical in design and functionality to the Settings page of the iPhone itself. Must be using iPhone.

I just started using this on my iPod touch and it’s awesome. I like that I can use aim and MSN in one apps much like pidgin. Highly recommended.

It really works well, thanks for this guys. I was thinking of selling my iphone because of all these software restrictions but it looks like you can get anything you want if you do the research!

it seems to work well but it seems to log you off everytime you go back to your home screen or something. is it just me? like if i am in beejive and then i press my home button and then go back into beejive you have to log back in and you loose your chats. is this the case with everybody? if so it suckssss.

That’s what is happening to my new 3G iphone. Everytime that I press the home button or sleep button, I got logged off or it freezes. I’ve been using beejive for 9 months and it never happened on my old iPhone. It really sucks now!!!

is there any option to minimize the app and keep getting messages (stay logged on) while minimized?? Its a great app but when you close it it loggs you off!

Nope, this is a limitation of the iPhone, not the apps. Currently no 3rd party app can run in the background. pretty lame eh?

dude beejive bee chat rocks. So slick and so apple like you could haver sworn Steve jobbs squeezed this outa his arse. Btw,I love the iPhone and iPod touch keyboard it is so easy to use and it must show as I am currently typing this on my brand new iPod touch and I have not had to stop because of a mistake once, the dictionary replaces all my mispelled words with the correct plus it is so easy to type fast as the keyboard Is so responsive and easy to hold especially when turned on it’s side LOL. Any I just plugged the iPod I should be paid for advertising it LOL. Beenige is bloody brilliant lol.

how do you download beejive or anything that will remain my iphone 3g on aim. i keep researching it on itunes and can’t find it. I am so upset i let go of my other phone for this. this phone doesn’t stay on aim thats horrible!!
