Attendance Countdown

Attendance Countdown is an iPhone web app to keep track of your working time. You enter your arrival time by either tapping on the current time or specifying it manually. Set your working time for today. Cookies hold the info on your device so you can close the Safari tab. A countdown informs you of the time you have to stay at work today. No need for calculating it on your own. Try with TestiPhone

  1. I am an instructor at a college and looking for an app to take attendance on an iPhone. Would you have an app (or want to develop one) to help teachers take attendance for their classes? There is nothing like that in Apple’s App store and it would be a big seller to all educators. Very basic, where you enter a classes list of names. Hit on the name and you can select “Present”, “Late”(and stamps the time you hit the button so you can keep track of what time they arrived), or “Absent”. The ability to have several classes would advantageous as well. I think this app could make a lot of money for you as I know eseveral professors, instructors, and teachers with iPhone’s looking for this type of application. Interested??

  2. There is now an App which does this on the App Store.
    It is called Attendance (conveniently!)
To use it, I simply tap on the students who are present and can then email this data to Admin for entering onto the school system.
Have recommended this as a solution to registration problems for remote staff e.g. Physical Education teachers. They have been given funds by Senior Management to buy iPod Touch units for this purpose.
It’s a great little program for £1.79 and it will select a random student for you too.
    Hope this helps,

  3. My school uses snapgrades,an online service that has attendance. The school can use it for many things including printing out report cards. YOu can have as many classes as you want. Use the iphone to login online for it.
