The name says it all. Free SMS is for sending Free Short Message Service (text messages) on your iPhone. Just enter the phone number and select the carrier where you want your message to be sent, and type your message. Messages can be up to 50 characters. Supports international messages as well. Try with TestiPhone

    tried multiple times to uk o2 as well, it doesn’t work. rather annoying, because i actually paid for the app. anyway if anyone is trying to use this to sms uk, my advice is not to use this app.

    it is a GREAT idea. really, i am probably going to get it. The reason is, is because i have verizon wireless, so i am unable to get the iphone. Although i can’t make calls, the texting is great! A couple problems though, the limited to 50 characters is not good. i like to get AT LEAST 150 characters. you can’t say much with 50 characters. It’s not worth it. Second, will the other person have to pay because then i will feel bad texting them. Specify details please. This is a great start though!
