WiFi iPhone Sync

If you hate connecting your iPhone to your MAC or PC to sync it, you’ll love what this developer is doing. Take a look at his demonstration of Wi-Fi Sync to Wirelessly sync your iPhone with iTunes. WiFi Sync is not available in the App Store, so you have jailbreak your iPhone and have Cydia installed to get it up and running on your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

You need to do 2 things to use WiFi Sync.
1) Buy and Install the $9.99 WiFi Sync app sold in Cydia.
2) Download and install the free companion app on your computer. You can get them all from the WiFi Sync developer website.

Wi-Fi Sync is available for for Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6, and Mac OS X Leopard 10.5 (No Tiger support yet.)

Sync everything including music, apps, photos, contacts, calendars, email accounts and more over the air instead of connecting a USB cable. Please note that Wi-Fi Sync only works if you have also purchased and installed the app on your Apple device.

Update: The new WiFi sync to be included in iOS 5 and iCloud has solved this issue to be released in the Fall of 1011. Some websites have argued that Apple has “borrowed” features from this rejected WiFi Sync app in its own implementation.

  2. this app. is a great idea

  3. I was all excited when I saw this app listed here, but was a little bummed when I see that it’s only for jailbroken phones. I just don’t want to do this to my 3GS. A shame Apple won’t do this. I have a gen one Zune that will do this. Yes folks, a Zune can sync over wifi.

  4. I`m looking for ways to get free wifi.
And I wander If there is way how to!
