Bearded Jew Apps has debuted in the AppStore with their novelty app, AppSmear. The ever-so-punny app provides you with the latest in STD detection. Just wave AppSmear over the suspected (or their parts) and AppSmear will tell you what nasties they’re harboring.
AppSmear currently features 7 diseases with 50 different humorous outcomes and just like STDs (STIs) in real life, AppSmear’s results are unique and customized to your sex. The results are an amusing mix of flimsy snark and haphazardly-drawn personifications of your favorite stowaways that I suspect can only get funnier as the night draws on and the blood in your veins getting gradually replaced with alcohol.
AppSmear has Facebook and Twitter integration, so not only can you see what’s occupying your goodies, but you can also share it with the rest of the world. All jokes aside, AppSmear also has an info icon that will send you to a legitimate website that locates testing centers in your area, quite possibly making AppSmear the first app that encourages both the spread AND prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (or for the PC, sexually transmitted infections).
