PhotoScatter developed by UniqueApps a quick way to send photos from your iPhone to popular social networks. The Photo Scatter iPhone app allows you to send photos from an iPhone and to any social sites fast. Once uploaded, A menu showing three options that can be seen on the main page. Take Photo, Select existing photo and Setup PhotoScatter.

First time users click on Setup Photo Scatter first to customize the app. It will bring you to a list of different sites as destinations for the photos. Choose a site and it will then be authorized as one of the destinations of the photos. After choosing the desired sites click on Done which then brings you to the main menu. Then choose an option whether or not to take a new photo or to choose an existing photo. Click on the use button for photos you want to upload and tap on share. This will bring you back again to the destination list page. You can then add details or click on submit directly. The “add Details” option allows you to add a title and description for the photos you are about to send. Then click Done and it is uploaded. PhotoScatter works exactly the same way on the iPod touch except for the Take Photo option as the iPod touch obviously doesn’t have a camera.

A strikingly similar app to PhotoScatter is PixelPipe which supports many more sites than the PhotoScatter iPhone app. The bad thing about PixelPipe is that, it is powered by Safari so, when you you have to return to the main screen and click on the Pixelpipe for you to continue.

PhotoScatter supports the major social networking sites including Facebook, Flickr, Shutterfly, PhotoBucket, Shutterfly, and Twitter. Photos can take time to upload, and the uploading time depends on the strength your network connection and the upload site as well. The functionality of PhotoScatter iPhone apps is worth the price it. It’s faster, easier and very user friendly with less confusing icons. We recommended PhotoScatter for your iPhone and maybe even iPod touch as well.
