As the saying goes “Two heads are better than one” with the Aardvark Mobile iPhone app, having not just two people but having all your friends answer your questions makes it even better. With this iPhone app, answers are reliable because they come from friends and people you know, unlike any other services such as Yelp and Yahoo Answers which most of the answers you get from total strangers.

Aardvark Mobile iPhone app, uses Facebook connect which lets you send questions via IM. Access is available when you tap on iPhone GPS which then automatically tags your current location to any questions posted. After downloading to your iPhone, the main page shows a box where you can post questions which then are sent to your reliable and knowledgeable friends on the specific topic. It starts with the search on friends first, if none are available, then it will reach on friend’s friends.

Aardvark has numerous members which are somehow linked to each other as “friends-of-a-friend”. We tried posting a question on what shoes would suite us best, we’ve done it late at night almost midnight and after almost five minutes, we’ve received numerous answers. We tried posting another question early in the morning, trying to spot the difference of the results if questions are posted at a different time, and still the results are the same. Fast and efficient. GoodRec is a similar app that works the same as Aardvark that you might also want to consider checking out.
