ConsumerReports.org brings you a free iPhone app featuring news and video. The Consumer Reports iPhone app gives you access to its basic database of consumer reports, news and information that can be useful when shopping for or buying new products. You can also watch videos and find out what expert advice is available for your product type. You also get access to popular blog content in categories like cars, electronics, money, home and garden, babies and kids, safety, and health.
Consumers Union, a non profit organization publishes the reports making the information unbiased since the organization does not accept advertising or free samples.
One gripe we have about this great app, is that it does not give you access to search for information. Finally it is worth mentioning that although there is a wealth of information available, the consumer reports iPhone app does not give you access to the full CR reviews on products that you normally would have to subscribe to, even if you are a subscriber.
