Thanks to Lunchbox’s iPhone app, Make it @ Home Grocery List, you never have to worry about forgetting your handwritten grocery lists any longer. Just use their comprehensive listings to find what you need: items are can be found in over ten different groups, from Dairy to household products. Tap to add to your list, which you can name after you finish adding, or tap “Add Custom Item” if it isn’t listed already. Once done creating a grocery list, just bring it back up under the “My Lists” tab and tap an item to check it off once you’ve grabbed it from the store. If you tap the “Recipes” tab on the bottom, there are a number of recipes you can view and add to your grocery list from. This iPhone app also allows you to import a personalized list from http://walmart.com/makeitathome.
As a recipe holder/cookbook, Make it @ Home Grocery list leaves a lot to be desired, so it’s a good thing it isn’t the main feature of this iPhone app. The list of grocery items is fairly extensive, and the custom add option (a must for any sort of shopping list) is great. This iPhone app is simple and straightforward, no frills or fancy footwork needed to work–and a steal at the price of free. Save time and paper by using this app next time you need to make a trip to stock up the fridge.
