Fandango for iPhone does a bunch of things for Movie lovers, including the ability to buy movie tickets with few taps on your iPhone and not having the fuss off lining up to get one at a movie theater. This app lets you purchase tickets at a maximum of ten at the same time. Fandango also lets you search the latest movies showing in your area, watch trailers and lets you find movies that are Coming soon. Fandango also helps you find theaters closest to you and you can add your favorite theaters to “favorites” for easy search, via Google maps. You can filter movies by this week’s box office, opening this week, or “near me”.

Although can purchase tickets online it doesn’t require a personalized account and PIN which means that anyone can purchase up to ten movie tickets using your credit card. If you’ve been using Fandango online, you will notice that this app doesn’t gives you the latest news and reviews, and you can’t read the fan ratings. There are also some advertisements in the Fandango app which pop down randomly. Finally the Fandango app doesn’t offer a DVD section unlike other movie apps offer, such as the Movies app by Flixster.
