Use to be my go to
This use to be my go to so that I can confirm numbers. But now names are no longer given when doing a search. You now have to pay I guess. Sad, I understand they have to make money some way outside of collecting data and usage but without having the names the app is no longer needed.

NumberGuru is an easy-to-access collection of public record information. Public records are collected through official government records such as mortgage deeds and court records, and through sources such as magazine subscriptions, warranty cards, and utility bills.
The results of a Reverse Phone Search can contain caller id data, phone records data, deep web search and more. Typically, we are able to provide the name of the owner and his or her address, in the full phone report.
If we are not showing some elements of this information in the results of your phone search, then we do not currently have that information for the number in our database. Please know that we are constantly updating and expanding our database to provide the most accurate and current information we possibly can.
When you search a number, we do not provide texts sent or received by that number or call logs for the number. We do not provide the physical location of the phone itself, such as with GPS tracking, etc. The information in our reports comes from public records and this information is not publicly available data.

Used to be a good app, but now it’s horrible
I used to love this app. It worked great and would give me info on callers. Now it gives me nothing. At one point, I paid $40 for the upgraded version to get better results, but the app was later updated and now it wants me to sign up for premium service…? Why did I pay $40 already?
I keep it in my phone hoping somebody it will return to its previous functionality, but every time I try to check a number, it fails me.
This all is a waste of time and money. Great app idea, but apparently greed of the developer has ruined it. Fix it and I’ll redo my review.

This app is DANGEROUS- BEWARE!!
This app prevented me from calling 911. I am not joking of confused. My husband had a medical emergency and I repeatedly attempted to call for help, but my call would not go through. I had to call my father-in-law, and in a panic, scream for him to have an ambulance sent to our home. It was the most terrifying event of my life. Once we were at the hospital, I had a moment to look at my phone to try and troubleshoot what had happened— each call I had attempted to make to 911 was flagged by Number Guru, and was canceled. I had more than a half dozen unsuccessful calls!!!
