Asteroid Rage is an iPhone game that takes you on a space adventure as your blast your way through countless waves of asteroids, collect Stardust and compete against the best pilots on Earth.

Using the built in iPhone accelerometer, Asteroid Rage lets you maneuver your fighter ship through the barrage of dangerous space rocks by tilting left and right. One thing lacking is the ability to move up and down on the screen, so you are always on the bottom of the screen, and moving either left or right, as rocks come at you. Shoot your various weapons using by touching anywhere on the screen. Your main weapon is the laser and you pickup additional power-ups (Stardust, Shield, Health, Extra Ammo and Insta-Bomb) as you go on. Bombs are also provide for you which you launch by tapping the orange circle on the bottom. Finally, like any good Asteroid game you have time warp capabilities, which you engage by tapping the blue circle in the bottom right corner of the iPhone.

Stardust: These are all over the place, and if you hit them you help increase your score.
Shield: These are blue boxes that put up a barrier keeping you safe for a few moments from Asteroids.
Health: These green boxes put your ship back to 100% health, needless to say, if you see one, grab it.
Ammo: These green circles refuel your laser gun and are rare
Instabobm: These red circles incinerate all rocks in your path

Keep in mind that you will have limited amount of ammo and you have to find more as you travel through the space debris. The Asteroid Rage game provides online high scores and contains a very high quality musical soundtrack that simulates the mood of a thriller sci-fi flick throughout the game. The game is played in landscape mode with your thumbs and your best bet is to keep a defensive mentality. Playing this game is easy, but staying alive is extremely difficult, unless you figure out how to maneuver fast and accurately, use your weapons wisely and successfully collect all power-ups in your path. Overall Asteroid Rage is a super challenging and well designed version of the classic game for iPhone and iPod touch users with easy to use controls and fast paced action.
