Toy Copter is a flying simulation game for the iPhone where you fly a toy helicopter around a room and pick up toy soldiers and drop them off at the base helipad for points. The game uses raw 3D graphics and its controls take some time to get used to. Flying the copter around the room is fun after you finally figure out how the controls work. The placement of the touch based controls and their meanings are hard to get used to. The game almost feels a bit like you are flying around those toy wireless helicopters around your bedroom. There are 30 levels for you to go through and multiple game modes. Also featuring up to 4 players over a local Wi-Fi connection.

We would love if the game offered some form of accelerometer based control which would make Toy Copter an instant hit. The rooms are filled with chairs that act as obstacles in the game. We didn’t get to try the multi-player mode, but that would surely make the game more exciting. Overall Toy Copter is an innovative iPhone flying game, that with a few feature additions has potential to become very popular.
