GO! Trivia review

Gameshow contestant wannabes, try your luck with Lovatts Interactive’s new iPhone app, Go! Trivia. Featuring over 6000 questions from more than 10 categories (from movies to science) with four different difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard and Evil), you’re sure to give your brain a great workout…and maybe pick up some interesting trivia along the way. There are two game modes: Play and 2 Minute Challenge. Play mode gives you 10 questions in a row, while the objective of 2 Minute Challenge is the answer as many as possible in two minutes (shake the iPhone to skip a question). Under Settings (top left corner), you can choose to have the answers shown while you play, and even an avatar.

Go! Trivia has a lot to offer: sleek design, easy and intuitive gameplay, and random bits of knowledge. Cheesy gameshow jingles is not one of them, but we can’t bring ourselves to mourn that overly much. You can post your score on the global leaderboards and use Facebook to challenge your friends. And with this many questions, the replay value of this iPhone app is pretty high…you’ll rarely get the same question twice. Try the Lite version to check Go! Trivia out for free, but keep in mind that it doesn’t have the 2 Minute Challenge mode, the Show Answer option, nor detailed statistics on worldwide attempts. Go! Trivia is ultimately a gameshow without the camera in your face or audience pressure, so check it out.
