Hotaru review

HOTARU from Fieldsystem is a beatifully designed relaxing iPhone app that is designed to help you relax, be calm and give you peace of mind. Featuring a night view of the moon, a grass pond with running water and crickets in the background, and lots of fireflies. The fireflies are delicate and responde to touch, sound and wind. So if you make noise, blow into the iPhone or try to touch the fireflies, they run away.

So if you want to get into your zen moment and forget about all your day to day chores, pop open the Hotaru app and escape to this enchanted looking brook where there are various visual and audio stimuli to help you relax and enjoy the sound of the stream and the insects…until the fireflies come to you. The Dance of the Fireflies is suppoed to bring you peace of mind. Your iPhone can become a loud and stressful and place at times, with all the fighting games and harsh sounding games.
