One of the best free App Store apps is the new Pandora Radio app for iPhone. It’s a new era for radio. Personalized, mobile, and free. Pandora Radio lets you crank out FREE personalized radio streams to your iPhone. Enter the name of a band that you dig and Pandora creates you playlists from similar artists. After you install the app you will have to setup your iPhone by entering the activation code shown on the iPhone into the Pandora website, and create a profile if you dont’ have one already.

Create different stations with new artists for various generes.

   I’ve downloaded the Pandora Application successfully and can listen to it online, but your iPhone application tells me to activate my accounnt using a code at pandora.com/phone. When I go there, I don’t see an activation window, but just a profile window and another one I can’t recapture now. Neither seem to be a program application window. I want to use Pandora on my iPhone. Please advise.

   Can’t activate pandora on my iPhone. When I try to activate it, it says expired activation code.

   I also try to set up an account and it tell me my activation code is expired. I have tried everything. How can I get a new activation code that will get Pandora working for me on my iphone.

   Is Pandora Radio a US Only product? I live in Japan. When I tried to download it from the itune store, it said “This product is no longer available.” The next time I tried the itune search, it did not find it. I need to install it on my iphone 3G. Please, help me.

   if you have a US iTunes account, you can download it. If you need a US iTunes account, either get a US credit card and sign up for an account, or do a search for US iTunes coupons to make an account without a credit card.

   Don’t bother, it is restricted. Whether you’re on wifi (JP IP address) or through softbank’s 3G, it gives a “Pandora is not available in this country” error

   Pandora is definitely one of the best radio app on the iPhone. If you have a good network coverage, the app works well and you will discover a lot of new music. I also recommend this app, Groove, which is a kind of offline Pandora for your iPod library.

   Everybody iPhone/iPod owner should have these 2 apps: Pandora + Groove!
