The main screen gives you access to live games going on for the current date, and also lets you visit your league pass. Tap on any upcoming game to set push notifications to be sent to your iPhone for all upcoming games for your favorite NBA team. View the schedule for the league and flip through the past and upcoming days. The Replay tab lets you watch full game replays of every game shown on League Pass for up to 48 hours after the game with a WI-FI or 3G connection.

NBA League Pass Mobile is perfect if you’re not in front of your TV but still want to watch NBA games on your iPhone from where ever you are. You get 40 LIVE NBA games a week outside of your local or national TV coverage area. When you tap on a live game that is not blacked out, the app starts to stream the live video feed. It takes anywhere from 8-15 seconds to get the actual video and audio to start working. We also experienced some hiccups in the live streams with the dreaded message saying “insufficient network coverage to stream video” which probably is due to user overload. Besides live and recorded full games, you also see video highlights like the top 10 plays and you can share game and stats updates through Email, Facebook and Twitter.

You should be aware of BLACKOUTS: As reported by many users, your local NBA games might be blacked out, and this is something that you can’t be sure about until the time comes. This could be a deal breaker for fans who are buying this app just to watch their local home team on the iPhone as it might be blacked out.

NBA League Pass Mobile gives you a convenient way to follow your favorite NBA games on your iPhone while your loved one is watching her favorite TV show, or while stuck in a cubicle. Also great if you’re in the west coast and want to watch east coast teams etc. Overall a great app for following the NBA and well priced considering it covers the entire regular season.
